Little chefs

Cook with your kids, not around them.

Recipes split between a grown-up and a child, safe for their age. They learn, you laugh, and supper still happens.

Age stages

The right job for every age.

Little chefs knows how old your child is and gives them the jobs that fit. They move up a stage in their birthday month, automatically.

  1. 3–5years

    Little helpers

Washing greens, tearing, sprinkling and stirring cold things.

The hob, the oven, sharp knives and the blender stay with you
  2. 6–8years

    Sous-chefs

Measuring, cracking eggs, kneading and blending with you.

The hob, the oven and sharp knives stay with you
  3. 9–12years

    Junior chefs

Peeling and grating, the hob with you beside them, reading the recipe.

    Sharp knives stay with you
  4. 13–17years

    Teen chefs

Whole recipes, from the shop to the plate, with you close by.

    Every tool, with your say-so

You know your child best: unlock the hob, the oven, a sharp knife or the blender early from their stage settings.

Cooking together

Head chef, sous chef.

Every step of a kids’ recipe goes to the child or to you. Anything that needs a tool their stage keeps locked is yours.

  1. Kitchen stage: the jobs for the child’s age and what stays locked

    A stage for their age

Jobs they can do now, and the tools that stay with you until they’re ready.

  2. A kids’ recipe with the steps split between the head chef and the sous chef

    Steps split in two

The recipe shows who does what before you start, so nobody argues over the whisk.

  3. The child’s turn: one big step on screen

    Their turn, out loud

One big step at a time. Messy hands? Say “Done, Pika!” to move on.

Safe by design

Small hands, big kitchen.

  1. Every allergy at the tableKids’ recipes leave out every allergy in your household, the grown-ups’ and the children’s.
  2. Tools locked by stageHob, oven, sharp knife and blender steps go to a grown-up until you unlock them.
  3. No accounts, no profilesChildren never get logins or public profiles. Posts that show a child stay in your family.
  4. You set the rulesParents and guardians switch recipes, cook-alongs and badges on or off for each child.

Badges and streaks

Little wins, every week.

Every cook-along counts towards a badge and a weekly streak. They’re for your household only, and you can hide them whenever you like.
